Boride Engineered Abrasives is seeking applicants for a second shift manufacturing position.   Experience with using hot and cold presses is a plus.  Must have an excellent attendance record and be available to work second shift.  We offer a fun and ethical work environment with competitive pay, great benefits, and a second shift premium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sets up and operates heat presses, lapping machine and tool grinder
• Records finished molding dimensions
• Loads parts in to heat treat ovens according to paperwork
• Maintains log of press temperatures and pressures for mold operations
• Closing procedures – fans, lights, ovens, hoods
• Properly completes job paperwork
• Communicates job status with first shift

Key Requirements:

• Hand-eye coordination
• Pays attention to details, is accurate and precise
• Self-starter, maintains production goals
• Can lift up to 50 pounds
• Follows safety procedures
• Use micrometer, caliper accurately
• Regular and consistent attendance
