STANDARD MOUNTED POINTS

Our standard line of mounted abrasive points are designed specifically for mold and die work.  They are manufactured from premium aluminum oxide and special bonding materials to assure rapid stock removal and long life.  Our Mounted Points are carefully formed and securely mounted on the mandrels to run true. MADE IN THE USA.

Standard Mounted Points are available in B shapes and W shapes and in both 1/8" and 3mm mandrels. 

• Red: Medium, fast cutting & non-loading with great stability & life. Great for mild steels. 
• Blue: Hard, holds shape well while cutting fast & leaving a smooth finish.
• Pink: Medium, exceptionally tough & durable with sharp cutting action. Perfect for harder alloys & tool steels.

Differences between our BORIDE & FALCON Tool Blue formulations are slightly different. BORIDE specifications are finer & harder catered toward mold & die applications, where as Falcon Tool’s are coarser & softer resulting in a great general purpose point.
