Specialty Polishing Stone · Premium Aluminum Oxide · Medium Structure with Moderate to Fast Breakdown
Made from select premium aluminum oxide grain, the RASP is our most versatile all-around finishing stone. Developed by mold polishing professionals the RASP offers an outstanding cut and finish on most tool steels, aluminum and even EDM (electrical discharge machining) surfaces. It is formulated with a proprietary lubricant that allows the stone to be used wet or dry. It should be used lubricated on softer metals. Try our Premium Stoning Oil or BORI-LUBE 10! The RASP is an excellent stone for flat lapping and contours quickly with a moderate to fast breakdown. The RASP can be used by hand with one of our Hand Holders or in reciprocating profilers like our U-Lap and Turbo-Lap Air Profilers.
Available in 80-1200 grit and a wide variety of sizes.
