Our wood sticks are made of select balsa (very soft), white birch (soft) and Rockwood (very hard). Very soft sticks are used for final finishing with diamond or other compounds. The soft sticks are used for immediate to final finishing with diamond or other compounds. Very hard sticks hold their shape when polishing with diamond compound.
