General Purpose Polishing Stone · Aluminum Oxide · Medium-Hard Structure with Moderate Breakdown

AM-K is a white aluminum oxide finishing stone of medium-hard structure that performs well on all types of mold steel. Generally, AM-K is used dry for rough forming and removal of machining marks on the following steels: A2, A6, D2, DC53, O6, S7, and P20. This polishing stone is primarily used dry but lubricant is typically used for finer grits. Try our Premium Stoning Oil or BORI-LUBE 10! Many polishers use the 400 and 600 grits for finishing plastic molds and blow molds. It can be used either by hand with one of our Hand Holders or with reciprocating profilers like our U-Lap and Turbo-Lap Air Profilers.

Available in 100-600 grit and a wide variety of sizes.
