COMBINATION BENCH SHARPENING STONE

The Combination Bench Stone from BORIDE Engineered Abrasives is used for deburring, sharpening and honing applications. During the manufacturing process, they are oil treated for quick, non-loading tool sharpening.  Available in aluminum oxide and silicon carbide in a variety of sizes.  Each stone has a fine (320 grit) and a coarse (120 grit) surface. Made in the USA!

Although these stones are pre-soaked with oil, we recommend using a lubricant such as our Premium Stoning Oil or BORI-LUBE 10 to avoid stone loading (pores of the stone being filled with material debris from the tool being stoned which prevents further cutting). 

Compared to Arkansas Stones, our sharpening stones are coarser and can be used along with Arkansas Stones to cover all grit levels from ultra-fine to coarse.
