India Abrasive File · Aluminum Oxide · Produces Long Lasting Edges

India Abrasive Files are made of aluminum oxide abrasive which is the preferred abrasive for producing exceptionally sharp, long lasting edges and for high quality steel work. They are brown in color and filled with oil during the manufacturing process. India Abrasive Files are available in coarse, medium and fine grits.

Medium (M) 240 Grit
Fine (F) 320 Grit

India Three Square Files are ideal for a variety of deburring, chamfering and radiusing applications. The coarse grit file is used to quickly repair worn out edges. The medium grit is best for producing the average edge. The sharpest edge is delivered with the fine grit file. Each file is built to last and achieve sharp edges and a uniform finish. Choose the shape and size that will give you the snuggest fit to the surface being honed. Available in a variety of sizes ranging from 1/4" x 4" to 1" x 6".

Although oil-filled, we recommend using an oil such as our Stoning Oil or Polishing Lubricant and Diamond Thinner for best results as the use of oil increases the sharpening action and minimizes the clogging of the stones' surface.
